Recharge or replace?

"Would you like that for here or to go?"

One company paving the road towards all-electric cars plans to apply this mantra to batteries. Like others, Better Place promotes the idea that commuters could recharge their cars' batteries while parked --- at home, work, or a designated lamppost. However, to alleviate fears that electric cars will have a limited range and enable all-electric road trips, they hope to create stations where drivers can have their vehicles' batteries replaced within a few minutes.
